With 363 entrants - the exact same number as last year - the second ever World Series of Poker Europe was about to conclude. By Thursday evening the 2008 WSOPE final 9 table was determined. At stake: A cool $2.1 million (868,800). 36 positions walk away in the money .
Nine WSOP bracelets are accounted for at this final table, but only three of the players present can lay claim to them. Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda and Scott Fischman are all multiple bracelet winners; Negreanu owns four, Juanda three and Fischman two.
Leading the pack - John Juanda, who has $7,100,000 in total career total winnings to date and stands to win a whole lot more after this event. He's the Indonesian born player who now resides in Marina del Rey, California.
He was the 2002 tournament Champion of the Year, winning three World Series of Poker titles, and a World Poker Open Championship title. In November 2004 he won the inaugural Professional Poker Tour event at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut
