Jesper Hougaard the 24-year-old Danish professional poker player who picked up his first WSOP bracelet this summer has signed as Bet365s poker ambassador. The Dane will participate in bounty tournaments every two weeks, as well as represent the site and compete against some of the best players in the world in several land-based events including the European Poker Tour circuit.
Like so many of his fellow countrymen, former ping-pong pro Hougaard stated that he became interested in poker thanks Gus Hansen. Taking Gus as his role model obviously worked, as he picked up his WSOP bracelet alongside $610,000 after taking the $1,500 No-Limit Holdem event in Las Vegas earlier this summer
